Not like "love the hunnies and get a million dollars."
Well, it's time for the update. But I can't talk long, I have a test I must study for and I need to eat. Well, I went to the Song of Solomon Conference conference on Friday night (yes I missed Eric's wedding rehearsal and dinner to attend this conference), and Saturday morning (yes I attended his wedding at 2:00 as the bestman). The Song of Solomon conference deals with the book Song of Solomon; Tommie Nelson breaks the whole book down and talks about love, sex, romance, dating, etc... which the church does not ever talk about. He covers things for singles (like me), dating couples, married couples, basically anyone that needs some ideas and refreshing on Godly relationships. It was awesome. If any of you ever have a chance to go to one, check it out.
I am so sick of weddings, it is ridiculous. The wedding itself was ok, just another wedding. I hope none of you don't plan on getting married anytime soon, because I may not be there. Anyways, I better get to studying. I'll write more tomorrow after my test.

Captain Guy away!!!
I thought I would try out Josh's new site he found and these are the results.
Name: Captain Guy
Secret Identity: Zach Davidson
Special Power: Invisible Tentacles
Transportation: Nuclear Jet
Weapon: Quantum Cutlass
Costume: Hardened Gauntlets
Sidekick: Ginger
Nemesis: Ming the Ripper
Tragic Flaw: Clumsiness
Favorite Food: Spaghetti
Not sure I agree with all of that stuff, but I didn't cheat; I used my first results.
Well, on to more important matters. I am still leading the College Pick'em group, but to my surprise everyone is doing well. Ben tied me for points this week, but I think it will turn out to be a great group, but don't forget to make your picks each week, or it won't be any fun. OU had a good weekend against the Ducks of Oregon. It was by far the toughest opponent OU has played so far. Oregon came to play, because they kept it close until the third quarter and OU pulled away. I think that OU just outlasted them and started to wear them down (but I think the 95+ degree weather with high humidity helped OU's cause also). OSU continues to win, but until they stop playing high schools I can't give you a full judgement. But, since I'm in a good mood and I think I can judge OSU, I will. OSU will falter this year because of their passing game. Woods has only thrown 10 passes this year and they will struggle.....Why the hell am I talking about OSU??? Who cares.
Well, school has been good so far. I am actually learning and staying awake in class. I have only missed one class this year, which was my fault because I thought I could get up after I woke up at 6:15am, I was wrong.
I went to the wedding on Saturday, Daniel and Kathryn's, not Eric and Dasha's (theirs is this Saturday). I did not realize how big this wedding was going to be. Over 300 people attended and stayed for the reception and the dinner afterwards (Yes, there was a dinner after the wedding. Not really sure why, becuase I figure I would rather be doing other stuff that doesn't involve eating. Me, I am going to talk my wife into having the reception before the wedding so we can head out right after the weddings over. Just a thought) It was an outside wedding on the steps of Raley Chapel here at OBU. It was really b-e-autiful. The rehearsal dinner was a luau with bamboo huts, kabob, limbo, fruit punch, the works. That built up to the wedding. It was the largest, most extravagent wedding I have ever been it and attended and will probably stay that way. To me, a simpler wedding makes more sense, but to this family simple is not an option. They go all out on everything. Anyways, enough about the wedding. I must get some homework done. I purposely came to the computer lab to do homework and yet I must update my blog, unlike some people.

They were popping kids out like a Pez dispenser.
As quoted from my Life of Christ professor, Dr. Kelly, referring to why women did not live as long as men 2000 years ago.
Well, I had a good weekend. I had an extra ticket to the OU game, so I invited Ben to come and watch OU smoke Houston. It was a good game. It's fun to watch a game that you see your team just kick the other teams butt. Great weather and good atmosphere. OU looked great and placed themselves on a pedastal as one of the top two teams in the nation along with USC. I definitely think that if OU played USC right now, OU would win. But we may get to see that at the end of the season. Ben, forgot to mention that he got pulled over on his way to meet me at the game. I'll let him tell the story though.
As for me and my College Pick'em this week, I still lead the pack by three points. Ben caught up with me this week, but it's the closest anyone will get. I'm just keeping it close for now to keep everyone interested. Good luck, cause you all are going to need it.
It's going to be a busy weekend for me. Well actually the next two weekends to be exact. This weekend my schedule looks like this. Saturday alone, I work from 9-12, head to the OU game against Oregon, stay until halftime (maybe), and then come back for a wedding that I will be playing in at 5:00, the wedding starts at 6, with a dinner afterwards, and (I have a wedding next week too) so I have a bachelor's party to attend too. But I really don't think that I will make it. Then head to bed and get up for church Sunday. There are many problems to this: 1) One of my friends didn't think when he planned his wedding by putting it on an OU home game. I pay $300 a year for 6 home games, 6 weekends out of 52 and people seem to plan stuff on those 6 Saturdays. 2) My other friend, who is getting married on the 25th realized that OU didn't play a game on that day, therefore making it the perfect day to get married. But what he didn't realize is that his bachelor party is on the same day as my other friends wedding day (and also an OU home game). 3) Also, he's getting married to my ex-girlfriend. Which is wierd enough to see them dating, (but after seeing them together; two things arise from this a) I don't really care about them together anymore and 2) I realized that I can do much better than her. But, I am the best man at his wedding. I know Seinfeld says that if I'm the best man, why is he getting married, but I'm gonna let him have her.
Well, I have to get off my soapbox now, because I have to go to class. So I will maybe write more later.

I don't know! I don't know why I did it, I don't know why I enjoyed it, and I don't know why I'll do it again!
Hi, Super Nintendo Chalmers! It's back to blogging again. OU completed their season opener by beating Bowling Green 40-24. It was a good game, but my face has been peeling for the past 3 days because it was so hot. But thank goodness this saturdays game against Houston is a night game. Anyways, OU has some improving to do. They showed some holes in the defense and the offense looked good, especially with more emphasis on running the ball. Kejuan Jones finally showed what he can do carrying for 150 yards and not only that, the debut of Adrian Peterson was a success as he rushed for 100 yards. Finally, OU has a balanced attack so they can be more consistent. I caught myself wondering why it was a close game, and like many people forget, Bowling Green went 11-3 last year while beating Purdue, winning their bowl game, and came close to upsetting Ohio St. This season opener was definitely not a normal cream puff. But this week is as OU hosts the Houston Cougars. This game should be a blowout and we should see some different players this week.

ESPN.com has their special up about OU Football. There are two different links. One is about the background of OU and the other is a pop-up which entails all of OU's equipment, how much it costs, how buying all of it is possible. It is a really interesting article. Check it out.
Oh, and by the way. I am smoking everyone on the College Pick'em so far. Haha.

Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true!
Well, I'm back again. I have been an updating machine lately.
Well, I have a couple of thoughts to post tonight. The first is that the Kobe Bryant case is dismissed. What the heck??? They go through this whole process and were about to pick jurors and the girl doesn't want to testify. They were about to pick jurors. Sounds like someones getting a lot of money. I haven't kept up with the case and I don't really care about the subject. So I'll move on to the next one.
Secondly, Apple has come out with a new iMac. It is the iMac G5. This looks like an amazing piece of machinery. How Apple did this, I don't know. Even if you don't care what the heck I am rembling about, just check out the link and see for yourself. And all for under $2000.
Finally, the College Football season has arrived. I have been waiting for this for nine months now. It's sort of like having a baby. You have to wait nine months for it, you are excited when it gets here, and there is always surprises. This fall ESPN is going behind the scenes in Oklahoma Football. It should really be cool. OU plays the mighty Bowling Green Falcons this week. OU is a 33 point favorite, and while that is a lot of points to score, OU is the team to do it. But hopefully, we will get to see the new prospects we gained.
