Hey Flanders, you suck didely uck!!

Well, I apologize. This isn't the update about how big the new Supercenter in Shawnee is. But this is about the yelling match that Larry Brown and the Spanish head basketball, Pesquara, had after the game over a timeout.

"Let's be honest," Pesquara said. "The Americans have played to 40 percent of their capacity in two of their games. I think it's very strange to take part in a competition that rewards teams that lose."

Well boo-freakin'-hoo. It's called a tournament and it rewards the teams who come to play not teams that lose. At the beginning of the tournament, records are thrown out the window, because previous records from round robin play do not matter. Everyone who is in the tournament has a chance to win it all. College teams go into the NCAA tournament with winning records and some end up losing to a team who was better that day. That is the enjoyance that a tournament has and as soon as College Football realizes this, I will be happy.
Peace out and don't forget to read the previous post.
What the hell kind of country is this if I can only hate a man if he's white?

Well, this is an untimely blog for me, but since school started yesterday and other things going on I thought I would let everyone know what was up. School started yesterday for me and it went ok. I am only taking 10 hours, but I may have to add more if I want to graduate in May. I have to fit an extra 18 hours of minor somewhere in the next 9 months. So we will see.

Well, I have some good news. Believe it or not, the US Basketball team beat undefeated Spain 102-94 today, Marbury had an Olympic record 31 points. Maybe they still can win gold, but I am not saying that yet, but they do have a chance.

Also some good news, Shawnee has finally completed their 24 Hour Wal-Mart Supercenter. It opened yesterday and I went and checked it out. It was cram packed. I realize it is opening day, but everyone within a 40 mile radius must not have bought anything anywhere else for the last two weeks, so they could buy it at the new Wal-Mart. It was funny walking around in there, because everyone had maps of the place. It's big, but no one around here makes it to Oklahoma City so they were lost walking through Wal-Mart.
"What aisle is this? Where am I? They have those in mesquite flavor? What is mesquite? Do they make it out of mosquitos?"
But the main surprise is that it is the 2nd largest (floor plan) that Wal-Mart uses. The paper says that it can fit 4 football fields in there. Ben doesn't believe it, so I am going to mark off the Wal-Mart and inform you if you really can fit 4 football fields in there. I will be updating later.

And my final thought is that College Football is finally here. USC plays Virginia Tech this Saturday at 6:45pm. Everyone else, including OU, starts next week. I am trying to find a College Pickem game so we can all join and play, but I haven't found one yet. I will try and update tomorrow. Well until next time.

"Would somebody please explain to me those signs that say, "No animals allowed except for Seeing Eye Dogs?" Who is that sign for? Is it for the dog, or the blind person?"

Dear stupid dog, I've gone to live with the children on jolly farm. Good bye forever. Stewie.

P.S. I never got a chance to return that sweater Lois gave me for Christmas. Umm, I left the receipt on top of my bureau. I'm probably over the thirty day return limit but umm… I'm sure if you make a fuss they'll at least give you a store credit or something. Umm.. It's actually not a horrible sweater. It's... It's just I can't imagine when I would ever wear it you know? Oh I also left a button on the bureau. I'm not sure what it goes to, but I can never bring myself to throw a button away. I know that as soon as I do I'll find the garment it goes to and then it'll… Wait a minute, could it be from the sweater? Did that sweater have buttons? Hmm… Well I should wrap this up before I start to ramble. Again, goodbye forever.

P.P.S. You know, it might be a little chilly in London, I'm actually going to take the sweater.

Well, I am watching the United States Basketball team right now. Pretty good game so far. It is tied 5-5, but the US better pick it up. Speaking of the Olympics, I am not sure how many of you are keeping up with them, but it has been an amazing Olympics. Our swim teams have been smoking people in the pool, our gymnastics have been kicking butt, beach volleyball has been awesome, and we are leading the medal board. Table tennis and swimming has been the most fun to watch. But one sport I found that has "gay" written all over it is Synchronized Diving. As if Sychronized Swimming wasn't enough. The goal is to jump, flip, twist, and splash all at the same time. What kind of sport is this? What's next, Sychronized Running, Sychronized Shooting, Sychronized Shot Put, Sychronized Pole Vault, Synchronizd Announcing? If we need to add a sport to the Olympics, let's do it right and not make it synchronized.

USA has turned it up, they lead 26-23 at the end of the first quarter.

I went and saw Alien vs. Predator. For someone who has seen some of the Alien movies and non of the Predator movies. It was good. Just a good movie, with a lot of action, and not too long.

I now have a job. I have been working at First United Bank for about a week and a half now. It is sooo much better than BancFirst. I actually get lunches, breaks, and they are really flexible with my schedule. I don't make as much as I did at BancFirst, but it's worth it not having to mess with that crap.

If you haven't picked up the Hawk Nelson CD yet, you need to. I can't say enough about it. It's awesome.

Finally, USA is still in the ballgame. They have actually been in the lead the whole second quarter and lead at halftime 46-44.
GO USA

I am updating, just so Ben will quit whining like a baby.

"I'm the only one who updates."
"Why doesn't other people update as much as me."
"Blah, blah, blah."

Where's your update today, huh? Well, anyways I don't know if anyone heard, but there was a brick-layer who used darker colored bricks to put an OU on the side of "Nose Picken Stadium"
in Stoolwater. It is hard to see, but it is there. Whether it was on purpose (if it was, there was some definite planning) or not, that is funny I don't care what you say. I'll write more later.

"I can't believe it! Reading and writing actually paid off!"

Well, I guess it is that time to update my blog for the month. I am watching "Hidalgo" right now and it is sort of slow right now. The only reson I am watching it, is because I am with a group. I have never heard of it before a few days ago. I will be filling you all in on the past month now.

- Thank you for your prayers about my youth minister. I asked you to pray because he was going to tell the youth group on the first night of camp that he was leaving. It went as well as it could possibly go. The kids took it really well. Please be in prayer for my church as they begin to search for a new youth minister and Tony, our previous youth minister who will continue his ministry in Marlow. So now with him leaving, it leaves only me and Jaclyn as the only single people left to hang out with. I mean there are other people, but they are so consumed in their own relationships that no one hangs out as a college group anymore. So unless I start dating Jaclyn, I am going to be bored.

- I went to Falls Creek last week with First Baptist. I actually went as the video guy, so I did not have a lot of responsibilities. It was fun though. Besides the fact that our cabin almost set the record for most sick people in a cabin, the record is 17. We were pushing 14 easy. One kid unknowningly brought it with him and then it went around the cabin. There were at least 5 to 7 more who got it after Falls Creek. We had 4 kids get saved and said they wanted to follow with baptism, and 4 more who realized they have never followed the Lord in baptism. So we had 7 baptisms Sunday night. The video should be even better this year. I go up to Glenpool to produce it on Monday and Tuesday.

- I recieved my OU tickets last week. They look pretty sweet. I can't wait until the season starts. It is going to be another awesome year. Another year of some more butt kicking is on its way. And hopefully, Ben, I will be able to get you a ticket and you, Chrisina, and Josie can come down and they can stay at her mom's and you can go with me to the game.

Well, that is it for now. The battery is about to go dead on my friends laptop so I may write more later. Talk to you later.
