We'll never get bored, cause we can go boardin'

How be everyone?  It has been a slow time for updating lately, but it's summer we are all busy, oh except for me cause I don't have a job.  Not really, other things have been thrown on my plate as of lately.  I bought the
Hawk Nelson cd.  Give Ben props for discovering this band.  They have a sound a lot like FM Static and Thousand Foot Krutch.  It would be a great purchase.  California, Every Little Thing, and Someone Else Before are the immediate hits off of the cd.  I also saw a movie with Ben too that I recommend, but I am not going to name it because apparently if certain people see the name of a movie, they won't even read the rest of the post.  So go see it, if you can figure out what "it" is.

I went to Ben's last weekend to make a rules video for camp that is coming up next week and to play NCAA 2005, which is awesome.  It has so many new features such as:create your own sign, give a pep talk to certain parts of the team, check on everyone's stamina, etc.  Awesome game.  Anyways, we used Barbie's for the actors.  It is highlarious.  Anyways, I will be leaving for camp next Monday, so be in prayer for the youth and sponsors at camp that God will use them, comfort them, and reveal hisself to them.  Speaking of prayer, be in prayer for me.  I am at another crossroads in my life to do a variety of different things.  My walk has not been much of anything lately, and I want to make a decision that is from God, not what I want.  Thanks and
"Stay classy San Diego"

Make the bad man stop!

Hey everyone. Everything has been going pretty good here. I had a great 4th. I went down to Ft. Worth to visit a friend. We had a blast. We watched the Ft. Worth fireworks. They were ok, but Oklahoma City's fireworks were just as good. I figured since Ft. Worth is a big city they would have some awesome fireworks show. Fireworks and firework shows are not what they used to be. They are becoming boring to me. Anyways, I left Saturday afternoon and came back on Wednesday. I got Monday off for the holiday and was scheduled off on Wednesday. I was supposed to work on Teusday but I called in so I could stay an extra day in Texas. Wouldn't you call in if you had a chance to stay an extra day? Well, I get back on Wednesday night and show up to work on Thursday morning at the bank and my manager fires me. I got fired for calling in, the first time I ever called in in the 7 months I worked there. So the point of this story is. Don't work at BancFirst.

Anyways, since I have more free time I will give you all the top 2 of the Top 11 list. Here they are.

#2 Five Iron Frenzy - The End Is Here
The last album put out by FIF is one of the greatest. Has many of the old school classics such as Handbook For The Sellout, Canada, Blue Comb, You Probably Shouldn't Move Here, and Every New Day. Plus the newer stuff; At Least I'm Not Like All Those Other Old Guys, Vultures, You Can't Handle This, and Cannonball. Great album.

And now for the best cd I own and my #1 Top 11 pick is:
MxPx - Before Everything and After.
When I first purchased this cd, I thought it was an ok CD. But after listening to it, it is one of the best CD's I have bought. There is not a song on this album that I do not like. My favorites are: You Make Me, Me, First Day Of The Rest Of Our Lives, Kings of Hollywood, Capitol, On The Outs, and You're Not Alone.

So there you go. Zach's Top 11 CD's. You all have a good weekend.

Happy 4th of July

Well, how is everyone doing? I am doing pretty good my self. I can't wait for this weekend, because I am going to Texas to hang out with one of my best friends who I have only seen two times in the past year. So it should be a blast.

I made it to the midnight premier of Spiderman 2 on Tuesday night at 12:01am. Well, Wednesday morning. Anyways, I will probably remember more the second time I go and see it. But from what I saw and remember, it was awesome. I really didn't think that Dr. Octopus was going to be a good villain in this movie, but it turned out that helped make the movie. A lot of new rocks have been turned over. I was about to get because of the way I though it was going to end, but it didn't turn out like I thought it was at the end of the movie. Sorry, I will give details once everyone has seen it. But definitely one of the best movies this year.

Since I will be gone the next few days, you will get a double dose of Zach's Top 11. I was shredded last time I posted three so maybe if I only post two it won't be as bad. So here they are.

#4 Good Charlotte - Good Charlotte
Scott, Ben, and I got to see Good Charlotte before they became stars at the Diamond Ballroom with them opening for MxPx. Twas one of the best shows I have been to. Little Things, Waldorf; Naptown, and other songs highlight this great album. Their second one is another good one, but not good enough to make the top 11.

#3 Maynard Ferguson - Chameleon
This is one of the best trumpet jazz musicians in the world. I could sream (screeching/playing really high) in high school and could do it off and on because my lips could not take it, but Maynard started as a teen playing this way and still does today at 70 years old. Just truly an awesome artist and album. I would name songs off the album, but none of you would know them.

So there ya go now. Have a fun and safe Fourth. Peace out.
Oh, Ben may put up my design for our Falls Creek shirt. The theme is "Go". So you might get to see that. Buh bye now.
